Folkeando's music is the product of our walking.
Musical touches describing places, roads, smells, nostalgies and joys, losses and reunions.
The ”there” faraway and the ”here” close, the ”here” faraway and the ”there” very close...
A quiet walking, slow but lively. A walking of searching and findings, of successes... and the others.
Folkeando is movement, is music, is life... It's our life here and there, yesterday and today, that in this paradox of our soul, is the same...

Isabel Sciutto | Sang and flute

Singer and flutes player. She was born in Argentina, where she studied piano at the conservatory in her hometown of Junin. She also studied music pedagogy at Facultad de Bella Artes, Argentina. Before moving to Sweden, she worked as a flute and piano teacher in the town of La Plata and as assistant choir leader at the Municipalidad de La Plata Children's Choir.
In Sweden, she has devoted most of her time to singing in a number of different constellations: everything from solo to major constellations, always with the Argentine and South American music tradition in focus. She co-founded the group Canto Sur and the current group Folkeando.

Fernando Massino | Percussions

Fernando Massino is an Argentinian percussionist living in Denmark since 2007. His sound and way of playing is a mixture of Argentinian folklore, classical music and the urban sounds of the big cities. He holds a Bachelor in World Music with focus on the crossover between Argentinian and Nordic Folk Music from the Music Academy of Malmö, Sweden. Additionally, he studied classical music (percussion) at the Alberto Ginastera Musical Academy of Morón, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Fernando works now as a freelance musician. He participates in different projects, like Folkeando (Argentinean folk music), Markando (a mix of danish and Argentinian songs) and Trumattack (playing percussion at schools in Sweden). He works also as a cultural producer and organizer at the organization CkulturA.

Roberto Amerise | Guitar

Guitarist, composer and arranger with roots in Argentina. Born in La Plata, Buenos Aires, has had guitar and Argentine music and folk music from other South American countries as part of his life until today. In Sweden, he graduated Music teacher at Malmö Music Conservatory with a focus on classical guitar, ensemble and Swedish folk music. Roberto participates in a number of different constellations from classical (Malmö Guitar Orchestra), Tango (Duo Fantasía) and world music.
Roberto is today a freelancer guitarist. He gives also workshops on Argentine and South American folk music in schools and other institutions. Together with Isabel Sciutto and Fernando Massino he formed the group Folkeando.
