Argentinske folketoner med klassiske klange

Trio+Trio is a collaboration between the Argentinian folk music ensemble Folkeando and the classic Trio Amerise. The collaboration offers Argentine folk music in a new form, as the original musical culture with the scent of the tradition, enriched with the fantastic sounds of Trio Amerise's classical instruments.

Rhythms such as Chacarera, Zamba, Huayno and Cueca dress up with new colors and nuances without losing their identity. A new experiment, which can be the beginning of a journey to new musical goals, where the most important and exciting thing is the journey itself.

Trio Amerise

Trio Amerise is a woodwind trio consisting of Rannhildur Jósefsdótr on flute, Morten Lohmann Sønderskoo Jensen on clarinet and Lucia Amerise on bassoon. The trio is one of the few established ensembles of its kind in Denmark with the combination of fiddle, clarinet and bassoon. The trio's members come from the Nordic countries; Iceland, Denmark on Sweden, and one of the Trio's primary visions is to have music from all three countries mixed into an already wide repertoire of various classical works. The trio also works a lot to explore the classical concert forms; they experiment, for example with memorization, movements/formations on stage, collaboration with other musicians, ensembles and styles, as well as installation art with e.g. lighting designers.
